Dissociate Me

Dissociate me
The feeling of guilt weighs heavy
The tears I can’t let free
Fear that weakness may overcome me

Dissociate me dissociate me
I flog myself over spilled tea
Maybe this ritual will elevate me
Closer and closer to my deity

Distance and dissonance
Rumble under the plates
I can no longer stand
I need an escape
Will someone come and take my place?
