Smooth criminal

Smooth criminal

It started like a movie on a summer day
When you walked through the door and swept me away
You told me you had loved me and I did the same
We lived a life of happiness till winter came

A love once with color now in black and white
As I stay home lying on my bed alone at nights
We hadn’t slept together since we had our fight
And I’d call him up, say sorry ’cause he’s always rights

Oh he’s a smooth criminal
Oh he’s a smooth criminal,

I was in love but never was a blinded fool
The man that I had loved had become wicked cruel
He took me back to when I was in high school
Sworn at, pushed around and beaten like a bloody fool

Oh he’s a smooth criminal
Oh he’s a smooth criminal, oh criminal, oh he’s a criminal.

So I rent a car and I tail him home
So what if I had a little gun of my own
I wasn’t gonna shoot him till he thought we were one
Then bang went the gun now that ————– gone!

He was a smooth criminal
He thought he was a smooth criminal
